Spent the first 12 days of August in England, then came home and did Sheep to Shawl, and the AGM, then the count down to Spruce Meadows, and the Grand Chapitre. not sure how I have the time for half this

See you later May!! Oh Year End Inventory how you do consume me.
In other exciting new Stash Dash started on May 24 and runs until August 24, I believe. This is to motivate knitters to knit from their stash, not buy new yarn, and heaven knows I could do with that motivation. Hence why I have a few more things than necessary cast on, but if I finish them all that will be amazing.
Also basically you can finish something you started on before Stash Dash started which means it also makes you finish a few things you have had on the go for a long time as well.

As for the EPP...I discovered that I did not have nearly as much cut and mounted as I thought I did, and so well I guess I will need to spend an evening fussy cutting in order to make some progress there. Sigh. I got so many done this month though, and I have prepped a lot of bits and pieces so that I can sew my little heart out. I plan on sewing on an upcoming plane journey instead of knitting as it takes up less room.

May Goals

1. Burn 700 - 1000 calories 6 days a week  - I did really well at this...won't share the numbers

5. Loose 5 lbs - this is so laughable..I am working out harder than ever, and seeing very little progress. I have lost an inch around my waist and an inch around my hips so that will have to sustain me for the present.

We had the Fiber Shindig this month, and it was fantastic!!! Maybe bought some yarn...woops.
I just need to sit down and knit something with all of it.
It is amazing how if you sit down and just work on one thing how it does get finished faster. I am trying so hard to work on one thing at a time, knit that thing until it is finished and then move onto the next. I do also very much like to have a few things on the go to suit the knitting venue I will be at. I will prevail!!!!!!

I need renewed motivation for the Lestrange that is for sure. I still love it to pieces, but the sleeves have got me down.I am hoping that by finishing some larger lace items that I can pick away at this and get it over with. Strangely enough though with the lace doilies I have become a fairly monogamous knitter, which I see as a great aspect to life, or I am just enjoying them so much that I want to knit them exclusively. Who knows though.
I also signed up for a 5 week boot camp, which is very impressive and has me at the gym 3 days a week, and running 6 days out of the week. Which is far better for oneself than sitting a knitting all the time.
As for hat's I am now knitting little baby hats, they go a bit faster and I don't have to change colours for them as they are solid and solid ribbing is okay.

March:
