March 2018

Farewell March. I really am hoping to get another podcast done fairly soon. Once the fade cardi is actually finished, and perfect I might show it off.
In other news it was National cupcake day and I made these:
I also made a batch of lime marmalade.

I also think to get my reading in I need to go back to knitting while listening to an audio book. Especially while knitting hats, although all the hats were given out on march 21st, so at this point I am either working on stashing a bunch for next year, orrrr donating them to other charities. I have considered selling them, but I would need to come up with a plan of for ever 1 purchased one would get donated. But then at least they would pay for themselves.
I did have to share these fish as well, because they clearly have something more exciting in the water than just water.

Another exciting FO for the books is I finished an art piece!! I have even got the frame chosen and everything, so got me! 2 huge projects off the books.

FO's:

  1. Comfort Fade Cardigan
    1. So I finished it GO ME!!! However, the collar bit is too wibbly, and pointed at the front for my tastes, so I am going backwards, again. I want it perfect, and now I know, so here goes tinking with the best of them.
    2. On March 25, 2018 I finished it for the second time and it fits perfectly!!!!!!
  2. 10 ish hats

I think next I will tackle the final quarter of the hue shift, as I know just getting it done will be a huge relief.

WIP's:

  1. Tardis Afghan
  2. Sexb-omb (name of the yarn) Socks
    1. I want to reclaim this yarn and use it for something else. I never think to wear my knitted socks. I want to put this into something I shall wear.
  3. Lestrange Cloak
    1. I had to cast this on because I needed more yarn for my Fade Cardigan :)
  4. Hue Shift 5 colours
    1. 1 quarter to go!!!
      1. CO is 18 stitch maker CO 17 with a CDD (I keep forgetting what my cast on is, so here we go, never to forget)
    2. The sad part about this is if I just sat down and got on with it I would have the last quarter done in a week, the edging would take a touch longer.

        Languishing WIP's:

        1. Illuminated Lines Blanket: Thank you Knit Picks
        2. Circlet Cardigan: Thank you Knit Picks - so pretty! I cannot wait to see this finished.
          • The 4 year sweater...it was cast on in January of 2014

          Future Cast On's:

          1. Camp-side Cardigan
          2. Touch the Sky Cardigan

          Books:

          1. Moll Flanders
          2. Worlds of Ink and Shadow
          3. DragonFly in Amber
